About

Kim Moloney is a ginger and likes abandoned buildings. When visiting any location she heads directly for the emptiest, filthiest part of town. She collects artifacts from her adventures and finds junk her greatest source of inspiration. Kim is an illustrator, painter, sculptor, training tattoo artist and finder of things.

She began welding a few years ago and finds metal to be crude and beautiful. Her art attempts to keep these two seemingly contradictory concepts tightly knotted together. She is currently running out of space to house all of her art and junk. She hopes to have more space so that she can make everything humongous. Kim spends most of her time feeling nostalgic for New York City’s grimy past, documenting the greatest place on earth, Coney Island, learning the accordion and playing with her ginger dog, Bailey.  Bailey is part alligator and three quarters Komodo dragon as well as a touch of piglet and calf.

They currently reside in Brooklyn, NY until they move to a cabin in the woods.
